This lot includes:

Lobotomaxx -  Yellow  AFA85 NM (sub grades C85 B85 F85)

Predacon - Red w/Gold & Silver AFA90 NM+/MT (sub grades C85 B90 F90)

Carcass - Black / Dark Blue AFA90 NM+/MT (sub grades C90 B85 F90)

These are Mexican issued figures on American cards, and appear to be test packaging / sales samples (that are sometimes called Mexican sales samples)

Research done at YoJoe(DOT)com makes mention of “very few” known sales sample of the Mexican version of the Red Predacon  here's what they said:

“Very few red Predacons from Mexico found their way onto US cards, though they may only have been sales samples and not actually available at retail outlets.” 

They make no mention of known examples of test packaging of either the Lobotomaxx or Carcass; I don't know if they were unaware that those existed or they simply do not mention them.

Anyway all of these are VERY RARE and AFA graded very high.

I sent these to AFA for encapsulation & grading only.  I did not mention they were test samples. Frankly, I did not want to pay $150 to CIB to certify the obvious nature of the lot.

You are welcome to send them back to AFA for CIB verification as “test packaging or sale samples” if you wish.

How do these Mexican cards differ from the American cards?

The Mexican versions of this packaging were created by modifying versions of the American card. They modified them by  Spanish language sticker placement. 

These have no Spanish stickers; nor have ever had Spanish stickers attached.  All have the "made in Indonesia" stickers on them.
