PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING - THANK YOU

This item is a rare stereo album released in 1964 on Vee Jay Records by The Beatles entitled ‘Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles’. Record label and number is VJS 1092. This album comes with a stereo, version 2 LP of ‘Introducing The Beatles’ that were used with the ‘Songs Pictures’ record covers. Record itself is in VG condition and sounded very good when played on my Denon turntable. There are many light scuffs on the record but no skips. There is a visible blemish on Side 2 of the vinyl 3/4 inches long (roundish) which can be felt and can be heard at the end of ‘There’s A Place’ and at the beginning of ‘Twist And Shout‘ with a repeating ‘pop’ that lasts for a few seconds but plays through with no skipping. I would grade the album higher than VG if it wasn’t for this. There is also light surface noise on the songs ‘Chains’ and on ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret’ that do not cause a distraction to the listening enjoyment. The rest of the album played fine. Stereo record labels have light spindle wear (see photos). Record was professionally cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record has the Monarch Records stamp in the dead wax. Gatefold record cover is also at the lower end of VG condition with flaws being much corner wear at the corners especially at the lower left and upper left corners, some wear on the edges and spine, light ringwear and three tears on the back of the cover at the lower right corner (see photos). Upper right corner has been repaired as it was split about 3 inches before it was repaired. Record comes complete with its original Vee Jay Records paper inner sleeve (see photos). See photos for song listings. A very decent copy of this extremely rare Beatles album and will very nicely fill a hole in your Beatles collection until and if you can ever find another copy. Only the second copy of this stereo album that I’ve ever had in over 45 years of collecting Beatles records. No reserve! Low starting bid! Money back if not satisfied.
