Brief Description:  Very rare outside its native habitat of Namibia and South Africa,  there is little known about Diospyros ramulosa, a type of persimmon.  It is a shrublike tree that has yellowish green flowers and bears orange fruits of unknown edible quality. It is frost hardy but does not tolerate heavy freezes. Attractive to birds and insects.
