Specially designed for the container and modular building industry, our shipping container doors and window shutter range are unique when compared to our other door ranges.
Unlike our mainstream product lines, our container doors and anti-vandal window shutters are insulated with a polyurethane foam and painted with a primer, ready to be repainted and finished on site.
Along with our container windows we offer compatible aluminium sliding glazed units available with single or double glazing.

Personnel Doors
The difference between the personnel door and the personnel door with 3mm astragal is that the latter door has an additional welded 3mm astragal to the leading edge of the door for additional security. This door is only available outward opening. 

Blank Door
The blank door is made to the same specification as the personnel door, but with no locks pre-installed. It also has welded internal reinforcements to accept a panic bar.

Included with the door:
- Frame seals
- Stainless steel handles (personnel doors only)
- Euro cylinder (personnel door only)
- Plastic bungs and dog bolt caps to finish the holes in the frame
- NO FIXINGS ARE INCLUDED. You may use the fixing holes provided and/or weld the door frame into a goal post frame.
   
PLEASE NOTE: The doors are in primer finish for on-site painting. The doors are not finished in their final coat. It is a requirement for the doors to be painted on site. The door will need fixing into a goal post frame (NOT INCLUDED)

Security Upgrades
We offer 3 levels of upgrades with our personnel doors, for added security and peace of mind.
Our 1* kitemark security cylinder (Level 1) features anti snap, bump, drill and pick technology, which comes highly recommended. Our security stainless steel handles (included with Level 2, along with the 1* security cylinder) improve security further with stronger cylinder covers and the ability to fix onto the spindle with grub screws. Our 3* kitemark security cylinder (included in Level 3 along with our stainless steel handles) increases locking strength further.

We do our very best to see that our customers are happy with their purchases. However, should you wish to return your order for any reason, please read the following:

     
  • • Returns are accepted if they are sent back to us in the original packaging, in undamaged condition, within 30 days of receipt.
  • • All goods MUST be inspected for any damage in accordance with our Delivery Policy, and we kindly request that any claims for damage be reported via email to us within 48 hours of receipt but within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Where there is evidence of damage to the outer transit packaging you must mark the delivery as “Damaged“ when signing for it.
  • • Should you choose to return your order for reasons other than damage/defect, please contact us for a returns form.
  • • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of any returned items.

How many keys come with the door?

• Personnel steel doors come with 3 keys as standard with a euro profile tradelock cylinder. Upgraded 1* and 3* cylinders come with 3 keys too.

• Fire exit doors ordered with an Exidor 200 series 302 or 322 outside access device come with 3 keys.

Additional keys are available to purchase; we have a key cutting machine on-site. We also offer a key alike system, allowing you to use the same key for multiple doors.


How much do the doors weigh?

• Standard duty doors weigh on average 40kg*

• Heavy duty doors weigh on average 85kg*

• Ultra duty doors weigh on average 95kg*

• Double doors weigh on average 110kg*

Is quantity discount available?

We apply combined shipping rules against all of our doors. After the first door is added to your basket, additional doors are delivered at £25.00+VAT

For orders containing 5 doors or more, we can negotiate more competitive delivery rates


What are the door sizes? What is the clear opening?

• The sizes listed are external frame sizes. We recommend leaving a 5mm gap around the door frame for adjustments when fitting.

• We offer side panels and over panels if you need to add to the width or height of the door. We also offer a cut down service to reduce the height of the door

• To calculate the clear opening (when the door is open), subtract 135mm from the width dimension. E.G. 895mm-135mm=760mm clear opening
