Cosmetically the lens is in extremely good condition. 

The glass is free from fungus, haze, or scratches. There may be a couple dust specks in between elements which is normal for lenses of this age and will not affect image quality.

Aperture blades are dry and snappy and focus is buttery smooth. 

 

This is not an 'estate find'. Like all the cameras/lenses I sell, I have used this lens myself and can guarantee the quality. 

The Nikkor Non-AI 50mm f2.0 is a totally overlooked gem. It is THE classic Nikkor; capable of great sharpness and wonderful character. I much prefer it over the later 50/1.8 that everyone raves about.
