Offering a beautiful Oval Serving Platter by Royal Doulton in the Bell Heather pattern, produced between 1941 and 1958. Royal Doulton’s renowned artist, Percy Curnock, designed this lovely pattern that features Heather in pinks, greens and lovely grays on a swirl body and scalloped rim. Bottoms show the green Royal Doulton backstamp as well as the brown stamp BELL HEATHER R.1941 HEATHER THE TOKEN OF HOSPITALITY  

Platter measures 17” long x 13 ¾” wide

In very good condition free of chips, cracks or repairs: there are some utensil marks commensurate with age and use
