This listing is for digital readout (DRO) and mesuring scales for either Lathe or Milling Machines (also suitable for other industrial machines/applications).

There are two axis or three axis digital readouts.

Please note:-

      that for One axis a two axis DRO and one linear scale will be supplied.

      for Two axis a Lathe or Milling DRO can be specified with two linear scales.

      for Three axis a Milling DRO can be specified with three linear scales.

      there is a three axis lathe DRO, but there are additional cost for this, please contact me.

      long scales are available at extra cost, please contact me.

      price quoted includes standard scales of your choice between 150mm and 950mm (in 50mm increments)

      price includes delivery for UK mainland (might be additional cost for remote locations,islands or NI please ask)

The price for kits fitted includes travel to your site upto 100 road miles from Nottingham, add £35 for every extra 50 road miles distance from Nottingham. Note that to fit kits onsite I have to drill and tap holes in your machine, make brackets and spacers on your site to suit your machine, when possible use your vice or pillar drill/workshop (and sometimes scrounge off-cuts of metal) to make brackets when the standard brackets do not suit your machine. (There are many types of lathes and milling machine, many have had additional equipment fitted, it is impossible to know before travelling what is going to be needed to complete the job, so at some locations improvisation is required). The fitted cost assumes UK mainland locations, UK islands need to add to the travel the cost ferry cost and basic overnight cost.

Lengths of scales are measuring length, because of the reader head width the actual length of the measuring scale is aprroximately 140mm longer than the measuring length.

 Long scales cost more please phone or send a message for price of scales over 950mm. 

If buying a kit to fit yourself, please note that elbow grease and improvisation is required to complete the installation. Packets of screws and brackets are provided, but you will find for one reason or another at least one bracket will have to be made to suit your requirement - for some machines all the supplied brackets might not be of any use to you and you will have to make all your own brackets. I can give advice, but most engineers will want to machine there own brackets.
