Description
Cappellini oil cooler + oil filter inside includes oil lines and engine side cover. Fits 160 AND 175 Sloper engines WITH STOCK HONDA PISTON OIL PUMP, or Franco's gear drive pump, by changing only one metal feed pipe inside the cover, so you must tell us which oil pump you will use.
KIT includes #157 oil cooler with oil filter inside, #157A engine cover with banjo bolts, both oil lines #1181 B + C.
Individual oil coolers or spare parts, besides 175A cover and oil line kits, are available by special request only, as customers were buying them, without understanding how to combine partial components.
NOT FOR CB175 VERTICAL ENGINES !!! Use #176 oil cooler for 175 vertical engines.
Remove the starter motor and this fits exactly in place. Other options are available in this same eBay store to use a generic oil cooler and retain you electric starter motor. Uses very common Suzuki oil filter cartridge 16510-05240, available in this eBay store as a spare part.
Cooler oil = happier engine! NOT suggested for racing engines with the tiny stock piston-type oil pump, because it lacks the capacity to circulate enough oil at high RPM's! Racers should use with the Cappellini Moto eaton-type gear drive oil pump, which takes a different engine side cover. Photo of this side cover on our race engine is for reference only, as we only use gear drive oil pumps.
