Hong Kong handover to China 1 July 2007 cover 

AV600 RAF commemorative cover produced for No 28 Squadron, the cover shows a Westland Wessex helicopter of No 28 (AC) Squadron in Hong Kong over Sek Kong airfield with Lion Rock in the background,   No 28 Squadron was the last Royal Air Force flying Unit to be based in Hong Kong operational up until 3 June 1997.

The cover bears $1.40 & $1.80 Hong Kong, China stamp for the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of th HKSAR and cancelled with the 1.7.2007 Hong Kong postmark for the 10th Anniversary on the first day of issue.  The covers were flown on a British Airways Boeing 747 from London Heathrow to Hong Kong.
