This listing was put together after a customer request, to fit WOLFRACE SLOT MAG ALLOY WHEELS TO A CLASSIC AIR COOLED VW VOLKWAGEN BEETLE WHICH PREVIOUSLY USED SLEEVE TYPE BOLTS WHICH ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, SO A STUD CONVERSION IS THE ONLY REAL PRACTICAL OPTION, AS CUSTOM MADE BOLTS WOULD COST FAR TOO MUCH MONEY.
You are buying one car set of 16 Wolfrace slot mag classic 1970's alloy wheel fitment sleeve type chromed wheelnuts with zinc plated washers in M14x1.5 Thread with FREE signed for postage to most UK Addressses. Northern Ireland and Highlands cost more.
Price includes 16 x double ended style M14x1.5 stud conversion studs, 50mm overall length.
Wheelnut Hexagon / spanner size is 21mm a/f.
These will fit the older Classic Wolfrace wheels as made in the 70's and 80's such as SlotMag / Slot Mags and Turbo / Turbovec wheels that require a sleeve type nut with a 30 degree shallow chamfered / tapered seat washer.
Wheelnuts are steel chromed, washers are zinc plated steel. Washers are slightly smaller diameter than the Wolfrace originals so that they don't jam into the washer recess in the wheel like the originals did. Studs are zinc plated.
Studs will need a stud lock liquid applied to the hub end of the studs at the time of fitting to lock them into place - this can be bought on Ebay for less than £5, Loctite 2400 threadlock / studlock or stronger recommended.
The very important bit :
CAREFULLY CHECK BEFORE ORDERING THE DIAMETER OF THE WHEELNUT HOLES IN YOUR WHEELS -
Measure it carefully on the BACK of the wheel for accuracy -
It will need to be 11/16" (17.5mm). If not, an 11/16" drill can be purchased on Ebay quite cheaply so you can drill out the wheelnut holes to suit these wheelnuts.
