Lens body in very good condition apart from minor paint wear and a small impact to its front metal edge. All clearly visible in high definition photos.

Serial number 2332547. Year of manufacture in Germany 1969.This is the Type 3 which has the advantage of the shorter focussing distance of 0.7m over earlier versions.

Focussing ring runs smoothly. Firm click positions to aperature stops.  No apparent defects to outer lens surfaces.   Minute amount of dust may be present internally but no haze or fungus.  Aperature blades are clean and free of oil.  Altogether nothing which would detract from its optical performance. However, due to its age, the lens should not be considered as the equal condition of a brand new item.
