This antique 19th century Japanese Usubata Bronze Vase/Censor is mounted as a table lamp. It has two handles, and stands on four legs on a pedestal base with an etched floral design.

The back and front panels of this heavy vase have different raised designs of birds perched on a branch with an etched design of flowers and leaves.
The handles which are of an 'S' shape, are fanciful dragon heads with each handle protruding from the dragon's mouth. The vase color is a nice rich dark brown.

This gorgeous rare piece features masterful workmanship with lots of detail and a nice original patina.  The quality speaks for itself.

The vase is 16" tall with a base diameter of about 6".
The total height of the lamp is 3 1/2" tall.
