An antique miniature portrait housed within a lavish gilt frame, circa late 1800,s to early 1900s.
Featuring a painted porcelain portrait plaque depicting a charming Woman.
Prong set within a gilt metal oval surround. Housed in an ornate gilt metal frame.
The frame alone is gorgeous. Decorated in neoclassical ornamentation, the finely cast accents are beautifully detailed
work. Backed by a hinged metal easel accommodating for table top display in addition to a loop for hanging.
The portrait surrounded by a now worn brocaded fabric matting to the front, with another fabric mat prong set to the back.
In very good antique condition with general wear. Patina and discoloration to the frame.
Frame measures 6 3/4" tall x 5 3/8" length
