I am not the original owner so I don't know the history. I can tell you everything appears to be all original and unmolested. I did not clean anything, This is just the way I got it. The tube amps appear to be working properly and sound good considering the tape I am playing. The unit had no recorded tapes with it when I got it but I had one from a long time ago that works. ( Same Speed ) I am including it with the sale so you can test upon arrival. 

As you can see the tube amps are very clean and the tubes are all NEC, They even have the rubber covers (2) on one tube in each amp. I know people convert these to Guitar AMPS and this unit would be a great candidate for that modification.

As for the reel to reel. It plays but was not tested for recording since I do not have the proper inputs jacks. The Rewind function is NOT working. The Fast Forward does work but is very touchy and you have to turn play lever just a little to get it to work. I am sure it has been sitting for years so all the lubrication has probably dried so if you are wanting to use reel to reel fully it will need some work to function properly. 

The cabinet is in good shape with the exception of the side with handle that has staining as pictured. Please view all pictures for cosmetics as they are part of description.  Comes with Plastic Akai reel and all 4 rubber lock downs.

This is being sold as is due to the reel to reel not functioning properly.
