Unwanted Items

Starry Asian Market (UK) Ltd operates a returns policy in accordance with the >UK Distance Selling Regulations allowing you to return any item within 14 days of receiving delivery of your order. You have another 14 days to return the goods once return request has been granted. Please note that any postage cost incurred when returning your items during this period will be at your own cost, unless the item is damaged, or was sent in error. For frozen/chilled products, StarryMart will use the fastest delivery service (24 hours tracked service) to deliver our frozen/ chilled products to customers. StarryMart is not responsible for any damage of the frozen/ chilled products due to re- arrangement of delivery or customer is not home to receive the parcel .

Please note that Starry Asian Market (UK) Ltd do not offer a refund for certain items only if they're in faulty:

  • perishable items: frozen food, chilled food, fresh vegetables and bakery items
  • any items which have been opened or package has been brocken
  • any discount items, Starry Asian Market (UK) Ltd will offer you an exchange or a credit note
  • unwanted items 
  • after 30 days of receiving delivery

Items must be returned in unused and in unopened packaging condition. This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights. Starry Asian Market (UK) Ltd only accept returns from the person who bought the item. 

Return must be accompanied by a copy of the delivery note or receipt.

Damaged Items

Parcel can occasionally get damaged during transit. If you have received any damaged items, please accept our apologies, take a photo as proof and contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a refund or replacement.

Missing or Incorrect Items

if you find any items are missing from your order:

  • please first carefully check your delivery note and see if your items are marked as out of stock
  • contact us immediately if you are sure the items are incorrect. We will send the correct items.
  • You may be asked to return the incorrect items. If this is the case we will cover any return postage costs. 

Cancel or Amend Your Order

It is possible to cancel or make changes to your order before it is dispatched. Please contact us and we will cancel or amend the order for you immediately. To make change to your order, we will contact you to provide your payment details over the phone if the new total cost is over the original order total cost.

Delivery method is follow by the decision made by the customer when check out, if there are any changes to it, customer must notify us by email or telephone. 

Ship Order:
Only when the status of order is changed from unshipped to completed or shipped. 

Please not that, the term shipped, does not mean the order has been delivered; it means that the order has been prepared for dispatch and the buyer has been notified.

Dispatched order:
The courier will notify you (customer) by email or SMS. 

Address amendment:
First of all, the buyer has the responsibility to make sure the shipping address, telephone number and email has been enter correctly when filling out the information. If you do require changing the designated address for the order, you must notify us by email/ telephone about the change you want to make. It is free of charge if the parcel has not been dispatch. In the occasion of order has been dispatched, the buyer has to pay for the cost to get the parcel deliver to the right address. 

Additional Costs:
1. If you need to make changes to the shipping address, it is free of charge if the parcel has not been dispatch. In the occasion of order has been dispatched from the warehouse, the buyer has to pay for the cost to get the parcel deliver to the right address. Different couriers charge differently, below is the attached price list:
  • RoyalMail: £4.90
  • ParcelForce/ DPD: £7.90
*Customer will need to notify DPD customer service for the change of delivery address.

2. Parcel has been returned to seller due to wrong delivery address. The buyer has the reasonability to pay for the cost associate with it. Below is the attached price list:
  • RoyalMail: £4.90
  • ParcelForce/ DPD: £7.90
3. If the buyer is unable to sign for parcel after 3 attempted deliveries has been made by courier and did not notify courier. This caused parcel return to seller, it is buyer’s  reasonability for the cost associated with re-delivery of parcel:
  • RoyalMail: £4.90
  • ParcelForce/ DPD: £7.90
Please note, if the parcel is free of postage charger and is returned to seller but require for re-delivery due to error of shipping address or missed delivery attempts. The buyer will require to pay for re-delivery charge. In the occasion of order has been dispatched, but the buyer would like to cancel order; refund will be made to buyer after deduction of delivery charge.
