The part was taken from a used camera and is in excellent working condition.  It has been fully tested to ensure complete functionality.

NOTE: Each lens may have a slight difference on its optical specs, such as the focal length etc. The manufacturers have to calibrate each camera for the focus and store the offset adjustment data on the firmware on the motherboard, so the lens is perfectly matched with the motherboard. When the lens or motherboard gets replaced, the match may be broken between the two.  The focus could be off if the offset adjustment data is noticeably different between the new and original lenses. If this is the case, the recalibration is required. Unfortunately, the recalibration can only be done with the facility at the factory or the service center. Without the equipment, some limited adjustments can be done, such as swapping the CCD unit between the new and original lenses, adjusting the space between the lens and the CCD unit, etc.  Due to their small optical components, the T-series camera lenses may have a bigger chance of this focus issue than other models, when replacing the lens.  You can certainly return it if this is the case.  However, this is not a defect, so I do not cover the shipping cost in this case.
