Handle has a crown above the queen with her jewels & ISABELLA on the shank.  Reverse has a portrait of Columbus, the banner of Ferdinand & Isabella, 1492, & leafy decorations.  Bowl is struck WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION 1893 & a view of the ADMINISTRATION BLDG.  Made by Wendell but only carries the mark of the Columbian Souvenir Mfg. Co., "PAT. 1893," & "STERLING."  Length:  5-5/8"   Weight:  .64 troy oz.  A pretty Columbian souvenir!   In very nice overall condition.  This design is # 195 in my book World's Fair Spoons, Vol. I:  The World's Columbian Exposition.

I had not planned to relist any spoons from my WCE collection since they were being offered at or very near the prices I paid.  However, many of the spoons which sold brought strong enough prices to now allow me to relist a few spoons at well below my original cost.

Please check out my other sterling silver souvenir spoon listings and follow me as I will be listing more in the future.

If you collect or deal in silver you should have a copy of my new book GORHAM SPOONS:  Sterling Souvenirs from a Bygone Era in your library.  It is packed with useful information for both dealers and collectors.  See the book's eBay listing for full details.

You might also want one of the few remaining copies of my 1985 book WORLD'S FAIR SPOONS, Volume I: The World's Columbian Exposition.  See the book's eBay listing for full details.

Those winning more than one item should wait to receive an invoice before paying.  Shipping for spoons is $4.00 for first spoon and $1 each (or less) for additional spoons that can be shipped in the same package.  (Overseas shipping requires a higher rate.)
