Author BiographyDR. STEVE BRUSATTE is an American paleontologist and evolutionary biologist, who specialises in the anatomy and evolution of dinosaurs. He was resident palaeontologist and scientific consultant for the BBC Earth and 20th Century Fox's 2013 film Walking With Dinosaurs.Steve Brusatte has a degree in geophysical sciences from the University of Chicago. He is currently a researcher of vertebrate palaeobiology at the University of Bristol focusing on the anatomy and evolution of dinosaurs and mega predators. In 2007, Steve identified a brand new species of carnivorous dinosaur: Carcharodontosaurus iguidensis is one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs ever to have lived. Michael Benton is Head of Earth Sciences at Bristol University and Professor of Vertebrate Palaeontology. His many books include Walking with Dinosaurs and The Penguin Historical Atlas of Dinosaurs. He also acted as consultant on the Walking with Dinosaurs series for the BBC.
