    I do flat rate shipping on all my  auctions so bidders can factor shipping charges into their bid amounts. For me to adjust the shipping for some bidders gives those bidders an advantage. Sometimes the shipping I collect is higher than the postage on the box, while other times it's lower. Overall when you add in the cost of packing materials and postage, I collect less in postage and handling fees than I spend packing and mailing the packages every month. The only way to get a discount on shipping is to win more than one auction, or arrange for local pickup and pay cash at time of pickup.
