This kit offers the most options and flexibility for blacking out the LED only. You can choose to cover (4) individual Spectacles v2, or have backups in case you wish to remove stickers but add them again later, or if you damage stickers during installation. You also get the choice to use either a circle or ring sticker for the LED - more info on that below.
Features
• Blocks LED without compromising the aesthetics of Spectacles; many other kits tend to be oversized, resembling electrical tape
• Meticulously measured and fine tuned after several prototypes for a perfect fit, blocking any LED light leaks
• Precision cut within a hundredth of a millimeter to fit inside the extruded plastic ring above the LED indicator
• Each sticker is carefully inspected for possible flaws
• Includes "Ring" stickers as a future-proof option (more info below)
• Glossy black vinyl; matches the gloss finish of the frames
• We chose a vinyl with semi-repositionable adhesive (a little stronger than our matte stickers); this not only makes the application way easier as it allows you to readjust until it's fitted perfectly, but it also allows you to remove the sticker in the future
"Ring" Sticker
We designed a ring sticker that clears the centered image sensor while also blocking the LED in an effort to future-proof this product. There still isn't much info about that sensor (aside from a Wired article quoted below), but it could play a factor with future Spectacles software or firmware updates.
