This is a quality, cleaned and restored copy of the pattern for you to knit the item/s yourself. It is Not for the original pattern or the finished article/s. 



Knitting pattern/instructions to make a cute little toy donkey. 

Size: 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of his head and 6 1/2 inches head to tail.   

Materials required: 

  • Double knit yarn: approx 85 grams of grey for his body; 28 grams of black for ears, muzzle and hooves 28 grams of red for his tie and saddle . 
  • Pair No. 12 ( 2.75 mm) knitting needles. 
  • 2 toy eyes; child safe stuffing.


The pattern is printed in A4 format on heavy weight paper with colour photos and charts where applicable. 

Due to the age of the pattern, the original yarn suggested may not be available.  It is recommended to knit a tension square with your chosen yarn, before starting, to ensure the finished garment or item is the size you require.
