Vintage Bristol Pountney & Co Ltd Tureen Canynge Pattern Est 1683 England

This is a Pountney & Co. Ltd. round lidded tureen in the Canynge pattern, est. 1683. There is overall crazing which can be seen in the photos, as well as some staining on the inside of the tureen, mostly under the rim. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The blue and gold colors of the pattern are nice and bright. Made in Bristol, England, this lovely tureen measures approximately 8 1/4" in diameter and is approximately 3 1/4" in height without the lid. With the lid, it is approximately 6" in height to the tip of the handle.
