Wimbledon-Furniture

Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for auction this stunning hand made in France RRP £6000 Grange Cherrywood extending dining table and 6 chairs

Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll price it up for you

There is around 50-100 high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page

A very good looking and well made piece, the table seats four completely folded, six with one leaf open, six with lots of space with two leaves open, eight in comfort and ten at a bit of a squeeze. The whole suite is made from solid Cherry wood, the chairs have a lovely open back and comfortable upholstered base

We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it’s in very good condition throughout, its in pretty much retail condition to my eyes, there may be the odd chip or mark around the edges of the chairs, I can't see anything of note on the table top

This design which I think Grange invented is by far and away the most practical for every day life, normal extending tables have separate leaves which have to be stored separately and are always getting damaged, these fold out from inside the table so they are always protected, the base pedestal has two clamps, the table top anther two, undo all four and the entire pedestal splits right down the middle sliding outwards, each internal leaf section easily folds out, it has drop down side panels and pins that perfectly line up the under side rail, you then close the clamps and its rock solid
