Extremely Rare, Super Cool, Vintage, Solid State, Transistor, Dream Coins, Radio and Bank, made in Japan from 1956 to 1963.

The radio is made of rich dark wood and polished brass and plastic knobs. You put a coin in the slot to make the connection to make it play. It works awesome and can pick up about 6 stations,one of which plays music. The speakers are clear and the sound is amazing. Both speakers are intact and play pretty loud for a radio of over 60 years old. When you want to stop the radio from playing you push the off button and the coin drops inside the bank. It comes with the original key to unlock the door in the back to retrieve your money from the bank. Runs on a 9 volt battery.

The back door opens up by pulling the little red faux leather tab pull and snaps back in place by the silver metal tab. The back door is marked JAPAN no. 103. Inside the top hinged lid is red velvet lined jewelry box. The coin slot is marked Dream Coins and there is also a long rectangular mirror inside.

I challenge you to try and find another one like it in this excellent vintage condition.
