Tamper Evident Packaging Shrink BandsNote: Layflat width is not the same as bottle diameter. These are clear plastic heat shrink bands that fit around the opening or sometimes wrapping around the entire product. There is perforation on the band to easily tear and remove the band from the product. Once the band is removed, it cannot be reapplied. Therefore it is often used as tamper-proof packaging. To find the size of the bands that will work for your jars and containers, measure the diameter of the widest part of the area that the shrink band is going to be placed and add 1-2mm, multiply by 1.57 and round up to the nearest layflat width (LF) listed. That will be the width of the band required. For quick reference, please refer to the size guide provided below. The cut length (CL) is the height of the shrink band from opening to opening. To install the shrink bands, simply slide the band over the area of the container that needs to be secured, apply heat with a heat gun or heat tunnel at 80-120°C. The bands will shrink to fit onto the container rather quickly. All shrink bands are made and cut to your order, therefore returns will not be accepted for incorrect orders. Please follow the instructions and take measurements accurately with a steel rule or caliper if possible. Inaccurate measurement will result in incorrect fit.
