PK's Loop Antennas HD Series Outdoor AM Loop Antenna with remote controlled tuning for AM reception use or where AM reception indoors is poor.

The Loop mounts outdoors and a single coaxial cable connects it to the indoor antenna tuning control box. 

There is a single output for a wired connection to your AM radio / receivers external antenna and ground terminals.

The tuning system is sharp and peaks right on station, boosting weak signals whilst rejecting interference and enhancing reception quality.

Supplied Accessories:
  • 1 x Outdoor Loop antenna and Indoor control box with inbuilt 9V battery holder and instructions 
  • 1 x 10m Outdoor Loop cable, a coax cable fitted with an "F" connector for Antenna, and BNC connector for the control box.
  • 1 x 2m Radio cable, coax cable fitted with a BNC connector to open ends for connection to AM Radio / Receivers Antenna & Ground terminals
  • 1 x L-mount bracket with screws to fit it to the loop base.
  • 1 x 9v Alkaline battery ( Australian Customers Only )
  • 1 x Laminated Australian Stations list sorted by location ( Australian Customers Only )

  • Loop construction IP56 rated UV grade PVC and is Paintable.

  • Power source via the control box internal 9v Alkaline battery ( Supplied for Australian Customers Only, International laws prohibit export via mail of batteries for safety reasons...)
  • Low power consumption, so battery life is long, probably ~12 months, ie a bit like your smoke detector battery...

Instructions for use:-
  • Connect the coax cable between the Loop antenna and the control box connector marked "LOOP" 
  • Connect your Radio / Receiver to the connector marked "Radio" on the control box 
  • Insert a fresh 9v Alkaline battery into the control box
  • Tune your Radio to the desired AM Stations frequency 
  • Slowly turn the manual tune control to the point of strongest reception 
  • Orientate the Loop Antenna to obtain the clearest reception; Edge on towards the transmitter is best.
