This was removed from a 1974 Evinrude 50 HP Outboard.
The unit was pressure tested 15 PSI for 20 minutes and PASSED. Oil was clean and free of any water when drained. You will need to fill with fresh gear oil prior to use.
Shifts smoothly and stays in gear as it should.
Driveshaft is about 21 7/16" from the top of the gear housing to the tip of the drive shaft. The driveshaft has 14 splines.
Prop shaft has 13 splines
Water pump was not inspected but we suggest replacing the impeller prior to use.
You will need to fill with gear oil prior to use.
