One of a kind!

Just finished, this lovely, up-cycled size 6, high waisted, taupe/green, maxi skirt, embellished with tiers of vintage linens, vintage cotton and vintage lace/crochet.

Up-cycled/embellished by me.

Majority of materials used to create my items are up-cycled from my long time collection of unique textiles, vintage linens, trims and found treasures.  This makes them earth friendly and one of a kind.  I may make similar styles, but no two items are ever exactly the same.

This great piece started life as a size 6, 100% linen with 100% cotton lining, eye hook & zip back, high waisted skirt.

I have added layers of vintage embroidered linens and vintage lace crochet.  Vintage doilies on the front.

I have dyed the entire piece a taupe color with a sage undertone.  The dye tends to have a mind of it's own and there are always variations in color throughout the piece.  Sometimes these variations look like, ''spots''.  I show an example of this in the last photo.

This is flattering on.  I am 5' 4'', and this is my size, on me this hits below my ankle, but not quite to the floor.  On me this is high waisted (doesn't look like that on the mannequin).  Perfect for cute crop tops.

Measurements are taken with skirt zipped and laying flat:

Waist:  15'' across.

Hips:  19'' across.

Height:  37.5''

This will come with a lovely hang tag, signed by me.
