What means if the mirror glass has backing plate ?
The backing plate is a plastic frame to clip straight on to the mirror housing. You do not need to use glue or any additional fixings. Before installation, please refer to our fitting instruction.
Which side of mirror I need?
Right mirror glass is for UK driver side. It is also called offside.
Left mirror glass is for UK passenger side. It is also called nearside.

What means if the mirror glass is heated?
Heated mirrors have heated system on the mirror that defrosts, or defogs mirror glass. You will need to plug cables into connectors at the back of the mirror first before fixing mirror into housing.
What means that mirror glass is convex?
Convex glass is curved and often distorts the driver's ability to gauge the distance of other objects properly when viewed in the mirror. This type of glass is often preferred as it helps to widen the driver's visual field. In most of cars this is a standard type.
Remove the existing broken glass and backing plate. Disconnect plug connections for mirror heating. If necessary please clean mirror housing. Next inspect received back plate, heater connectors position and mirror glass. Then push the mounting plate into the mirror shell and make sure it clips in fully.Then connect heating wires to the connectors at back of the mirror. Please be aware that adhesive pad at the back of the mirror is very strong. If need be, practice to ensure that you can align the glass in the correct position before removing the protective foil from adhesive pad and fitting. You don't need to apply any additional glue or sealant.
