HELIOS 44-2 2/58mm Russian Soviet USSR Lens M42 with Adapter for Sony α NEX

Serial number: 88110900 - Made in USSR by "Jupiter" - Valdai in 1988!

Condition: New, Unused surplus in Excellent condition.  

Glass is clean and clear, no scratches, no fungus. The iris blades is free of oil (it is very important for all lenses - the blades must be free of oil). The diaphragm-control ring turns smoothly and accurate. The focusing is smooth and precise. P.S. The iris blades must be absolutely free of oil, not acceptable even a little oil because this - "a little oil" will be on glass inside of a lens on a sunny day.

 

Comes with TOP Quality adapter M42 to Sony α NEX E-Mount,

front lens cap and M42 rear lens cap.

 

The Adapter Comes with the Key Wrench!

Please note that M42 part of the adaptor is detachable for better lens positioning.

To release/tight screws you need to use 0.05" (1.5mm) Hexagon (Allen) Key wrench.

                 How to Use manual focus (MF) lenses with the use of the adapter with Sony NEX:

◆ Turn on 'shoot without lens' to use MF lenses with adapters.
◆ Use your LCD to Focus, only operated in manual focus mode (Auto Focus is impossible).
◆ It must turn on 'shoot without lens' setting of your NEX camera in order to use the adapter         
◆ You can use MF assist function to focus accurately. (7x or 14x zoom focus)
◆ It also supports adjust the aperture by this adapter
◆ It is support A / M mode
◆ Made of Metal

Notice:
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any others functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode with Sony NEX body - Allows focusing to Infinity.
