This lovely length of hand woven European hemp measures 4.5 yards long by 18.5 inches wide ~*~  This is a wonderful, very heavy roll of hand-woven hemp with a Gorgeous, and rare deep, saturated dark golden caramel stripe!! ~ all hand woven, antique European hemp~*~This fabric was used to make very very heavy sacking and dates from around 100 years ago~  ! The weave on this antique fabric is a herringbone weave, with beautiful warm , nutty oatmeal tone. This fabric has a coarse texture and slightly stiff hand~*~ ~*~ This runner would make a stunning table runner, lovely stair runner or would also be lovely for decorative pillows! Condition: This roll is in original unwashed condition with light storage dust *~ There are some marks on this length and storage marks, especially along one side edge.  This roll is best to hand wash and air dry if needed, or dry clean in order to preserve the texture of this stunning textile~*~
