This is a charming set of 14 vintage French napkins dating c 1910-1920. It is so rare to find such a large intact set! Very very high quality indeed! LOVELY plain white finely woven linen and cotton mix with a hand stitched "AG" initials monogram in white on the center of each.~ ~*~ Wonderful antique, just off-white tone . Charming decorative white border stripes to either side of the monogram on each napkin. These would make such a lovely addition to any table ~*~ . ~*~ They are a medium to heavy weight cotton and linen mix, wonderful high quality, beautiful floppy feel! ~*~
MEASUREMENTS : Each of these wonderful napkins measures approximately 23 inches by 30 inches ~ There is some small size variation in the group, but very close indeed ~*~
CONDITION : These lovely napkins are freshly laundered. There are some pale small storage marks on a few of these napkins that did not wash fully. ONE of these napkins has some brown speckled stains that could perhaps be bleached. ~*~ Lovely condition with plenty of life left to live!~*~ *~ ~*~
These textiles make lovely hand towels, guest towels, napkins, table runners and accents, they can be seamed together to make curtains, patchwork quilts, pillows. I like to use a selection of different towels as napkins to create a charming look at any table~*~ They are just in time for Christmas and would look spectacular decorating a Christmas table, or lovely to wrap baked treats in as gifts~*~ ~*~
