AIM PROTPMS CAR TYRE PRESSURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PRO TPMS CAR 4 VALVE KIT 8.5MM VALVE KIT

Item Description

The ProTPMSCar Tyre Pressure Management System (TPMS) is perfect system for pro carracing applications where multiple wheels are used and spare sets needed. The tyre monitoring system uses high tech tyre sensors to transmit Pressure and Temperature information to the display unit.

ProTPMS Car Tyre Pressure Management Systemis available as 4, 8 and 16 tyre sensor kit options to allow for paddock wheel preparation. There are wheel valve options of 8.5mm or 11.5mm and a choice of whip antenna or flat antenna.

The goal of ProTPMS is to provide accurate pressure and temperature information that can be analyzed by the acquisition engineers and to inform either the paddock of any tyres damage (slow leakage, puncture) thanks to the telemetry system or the driver via original dash or ProTPMSLCD display.

The system consists of a powered pressure sensor with transmitter fitted to the rim. The data sent by the sensors are transmitted by RF frequency to a receiver control unit (RCU) connected to the bike data logger

During the race, the team is informed in real time of the pressure and temperature data thanks to the telemetric system.

After the race, the acquisition engineer can plug the data logger into the PC and analyze tire behavior to optimise the pressure settings.

The display information includes tyre pressure and temperature, alert warnings for low pressure and high temperature, as well as ambient temperature and a clock. The alert feature also allows independent front and rear tyre settings. Up to 16wheel sensors are able to be used allowing pressures and temperatures to be checked without touching the wheel. During use, pressure and temperature are displayed simultaneously and highest temperature and pressure can be recalled on the diplay unit. Wheel changes mean that the display unit recognises and displays the relevant data in the display unit.

Features include;

ProTPMS RCU Datalogger (CAN)

Pro TPMS (RCU) Reciever Control Unit

LF Trigger
Turns wheel sensors on and off to transmit information to your display unit.

Display
Shows real time Pressure and Temperature simultaneously for front and rear tyres.

  • Recalls highest temp or pressure after every session.
  • Warning alert if tyre loses pressure or high temperature (threshold can be set as desired and front and rear independently).
  • Can be easily removed from bike and worn by tyre technician to monitor spare wheels for pressure/temperature without using tyre gauge. Just use the LF switch to turn sensors on and off as required.

ProTPMS Wheel Sensors
The number of wheel sensors you can have is optional from 2 to 16 depending on your requirements
