Our 3rd Recipe Mix!
(As of 3/2019)

The Craft Brew Folks, bring you this PREMIUM blend of pure brewing grains to make REAL bourbon whiskey  in the WHEAT style of Pappy Van Winkle.

Why do people go crazy-go-nuts over Pappy Van Winkle? One of the things that distinguishes it from other bourbon is the wheat in the mash, which really does taste a bit like whole wheat bread with honey (hey, some things just taste like what they are.) However, you don’t need to drop mad cash on Pappy in order to taste a wheated bourbon whiskey.
Like any of the range of solid W.L. Weller bourbons, (named for the guy whose brilliant idea it was to add wheat to the mash bill in the first place), and good ol’ Maker's Mark or Rebel Reserve,  wheated bourbon is great!!

This kit is designed for making a super strong 5 gallon wash, using grains specifically grown, malted, and kilned for use in brewing. The grain weight in total is 10 pounds. This will get you a superb wash full of sugars for the yeasties to make a potent brew for distilling.
Additionally,The same corn mash can be used for subsequent batches over again by adding more sugar and yeast.

THIS IS NOT "SWEET FEED"Buyer beware- many sellers offer "sweet feed" for brewing- "sweet feed" is nothing more than food for stock animals that often contains sulfur compounds, minerals, hormones, antibiotics, salts, and preservatives- NOT good things to be brewing with or drinking. We strongly encourage you to avoid "sweet feed" blends.  Also, some seller sell 8lbs for 5 gallon mashes- be sure to compare!

Our blend has three grains:  70% Organic Lincoln County cracked Corn (7lbs.)
                                                            20% Malted Weyermann's Wheat   (2 lb.)
                                                            10% Organic Malted 6-row Barley (1lb.)

The grains are milled the day they are ordered/ shipped, and each grain type is packaged individually- not mixed together, so you really can see the quality.

Our blend of grains made specifically for brewing don't need amylase enzyme additives  like some of the others products on ebay, because the malting process causes the enzyme to be naturally added by the malted grains when heated.
We use 6-row barley that naturally contains higher amounts of these enzymes.
Do you think the old time distillers had amylace enzyme around to make their product?  Don't settle for cheap, don't settle for all the nasty by-products in livestock sweet feed.

Using all-grain methods will result in a true smooth whiskey (or bourbon if aged in charred oak). However, if you want to make moonshine, all you need is to add white sugar to the grain to make a high alcohol mash. We'll send you instructions for this.

Our grains are always fresh, and are crushed/ milled to the perfect consistency for brewing at the time of your order..

We also include 14 grams (in 2 seven gram packs) of premium distiller's yeast to get fermentation going. You will end up with a great product!

Shipping is FREE via USPS Priority Flat Rate Box (2 -3 Day shipping!) or FedEx Ground- whichever is fastest to your location -  and you will get a tracking number when shipped

We know when you use our product, at our price, you will be back for more.
