One of THE most beautiful printed linen panels! This stunning textile is French and dates c1890-1910 ~ GORGEOUS printed linen ~ ~ this wonderful curtain has the most beautiful , warm lovely aged ground! I've freshly laundered this gorgeous textile . ~ ~ This panel is constructed by seaming two panels of the wonderful printed linen together and the back is lined with a light cotton. This textile hung in a window, and the right facing side has sun damage where the side edge is damaged and has also come away from the backing, so this side edge should be considered for repair. It would be beautiful to hang as a curtain ( after repairing the side edge) but also the fabric is stunning and this textile can be deconstructed and used for the fabric! ~*~ This textile has a warm , LOVELY aged ground, only achieved through time. The tones in the floral design are purples, golden yellow ~ This fabric was printed using hand carved wooden blocks ~ The top is pleated and the pleats could be removed if necessary ~ ~*~ ~ ( I 553)
MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful curtain panel measures 108 inches long by 57 inches wide at the bottom and the top, where it is pleated measures 42 inches wide !!
