~Lot of two~Vintage c.1940's~Art Deco~6" round~clear/crystal glass~coaster ashtray snack plates from: HAZEL ATLAS' "Parti-ade" line. ~Very RARE & 'Hard to Find' collectible Hazel Atlas glassware!!~

This discontinued line features winged & beaded handles. These 'Smoke-N-Sip' type coasters have two wing handles that double as a cigarette rest, too. Although, the original intention was for a cigarette and drink holder, one could use these to serve all kinds of snacks with a glass, like shrimp cocktail, for instance, and use the ash space for placing a utencil, etc. They also do not really 'read' like an ashtray does, with their traditional looking rest(s). . . more like an oversized coaster or small snack plate.

One last interesting detail to these coasters is that the area that holds the drink is raised/embossed with what resembles a snowflake -or- maybe a flower. This space measures 2-1/4" round, for the maximum diameter of the glass bottom that the coaster will accommodate. (min. of approximately 1-3/4")

Perfect condition with no chips, no cracks, & no damage/repairs. They hardly look used.
