Philine is an exceptional quality limited edition doll sculpted by world renown German doll artist, Hildegard Gunzel for Waltershauser Puppenmanufackur (WPM), and is a 2001 DOTY Industry Choice Award winner. She is fashioned from the finest Biggidur vinyl, which is a form of vinyl patented by Waltershauser in 1993 and created to give the appearance of porcelain and the durability of vinyl. This cutting edge material lends a soft smooth texture resembling the delicate skin of a new born baby. Philine’s dress is made of white silk with light blue Duponi silk belt and silk covered buttons. Her light blue coat is made from fine wool. Her little feet are adorned with white cotton socks and detailed leather shoes, and her pantaloons are fashioned of fine cotton eyelet.
