Circa 1800's  estate find   

Solid BRASS muffin bell that's In Good Condition however attic find and dirty

ornate iron mechanism mounting frame for the muffin bell appears to be working fine

(when I depress mechanical lever from the back with a wooden stick I used to test this item)

and I suppose that a lever (missing) to ring bell is all that is needed in order for this to work as intended originally

It does show use and age as seen in my photos.  The iron edge rim has a chip  

When I ring the Bell it Sound Great! Nice Bell Tone!
