DESCRIPTION
In a lovely prize binding. This is the 'Oxford Complete Edition'. With a frontispiece of Scott. Edited and with notes by J Logie Robertson. Robertson was a literary scholar, editor and author who also wrote under the pen name Hugh Haliburton.
CONDITION
In a half vellum, prize binding, with marbled paper boards. Externally, smart. Spine is aged as are the boards. Patches of rubbing to the spine and extremities. Prize bookplate to the front pastedown, Windermere Grammar School. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright occasional spots to pages.
