Vintage 1970's White Pique Formal Length Short Sleeve Beaded Trimmed Prom Homecoming Cocktail Dress Size Small - 8

White cotton pique fabric has a rose, stem and leaf pattern in the fabric - see pictures.

Dress is fully lined in white cotton fabric.  Beaded trim is hand sewn onto dress and measures about 5/8 inches wide. 

Center back zipper is about 21 inches long. 

The neckline V in front comes down about 4.5 inches from round neck line. 

Short sleeves - from top seam of sleeve to bottom of sleeve is about 7 inches. 

From under arm seam to bottom hem of dress measures about 45.5 inches

Dress measures under bust around dress about 28.5 inches.  

2 side pockets in dress.  Pockets are lightly stitched to lining so the pockets lie flat and don't move - see pictures.  

Measurements:

Front beading from seam to seam under bust line about 15 1/2 inches

Back beading under bust line about 14 inches

Across front from under arm hole to arm hole about 16 1/2 inches

Across back 3 1/2 inches down from top of back neck line about 13 inches across back of dress

Seam allowance 5/8 of an inch

Beading is sewn on outside of finished dress.

This hand made this dress was made for a senior high school prom

Previously worn, in excellent used condition.  

Original owner.  Pet free, smoke free home.
