Up for sale is an Nintendo NES Front Loader (NES-001) capacitor replacement kit with brand new 72 pin connector. It includes every capacitor used by the Nintendo NES Front Loader (NES-001) system. Bad capacitors and dirty 72 pin connector can lead to the following problems:
1) Low or no sound
2) Dim or no video (Will not fix vertical or horizontal lines)
3) No power
4) Red Blink of Death
While these problems can be caused by other issues with the system itself, faulty capacitors are notorious for causing these problems. However, it is important to point out that you shouldn’t buy this kit hoping it will fix your particular issue, unless you are sure faulty capacitors are the cause of the problem.
This repair takes considerable soldering skills and knowledge. Please don’t attempt this repair without such skills as I will not be responsible for loss or damage. Furthermore soldering equipment is needed. The repair takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete and significant patience.
There are about 5 variations of the power/video modulator and each one is unique as they have different capacitor values and voltages.
The most common one is the Alps power and modulator PCB that needs 9 aluminum electrolytic capacitors (including main board caps). To ensure that you are getting the right kit for your system please check the inside of your console and look for the name on the silver box where the video/power connections are located.

All capacitors have the same ratings as the original ones in the system.
