Vintage 1960s / 1970s maxi evening dress in a gorgeous lurex-like turquoise blue material with a lovely sparkle to it capturing an assortment of colours.
Attractive silver sequin trim at the neckline and around the waist (all round).
The sleeves are three quarter length.
Sweetheart neckline at the front.
Slightly deeper V at the back.
Zip at the back.
Please note that the dress is fully lined.
Also, there is no stretch in the material.
Actual measurements
Chest measurement (underarm measurement): 19 inches x 2 PLUS 2 inches extra at the front making it 40 inches maximum.
Waist / underbust (in line with the silver trim - about 6.5 inches under the armpit): 29 inches maximum.
The material at the hips hangs down loosely at 34 inches but when spread out extends to approximately 50 inches plus.
Sleeve length: 17 inches
Shoulder to hem: 56.5 inches
The dress would probably best fit a size 14 or a larger busted size 12 or a small waisted size 16. Please check your own measurements very carefully to avoid disappointment.
The garment is unbranded and has no care label but is fairly easy care and hangs beautifully.
Washing instructions:
Machine wash inside out on Delicates cycle at 30 degrees C or on cold wash.
Hang on a hanger to dry naturally.
Iron on reverse.
