This listing is for 1 x Bruek & Kjaer Vibro Accelerometer, housing and cable. ASA-020, AC-3001 and AC-169/150
These were kept as spares for a large project and are now surplus to requirements. The accelerometers come as pictured without the orginial box surrounding the card backing. The cable is still in it's sealed bag.

The data sheet only shows the cable as a 5 or 10m option, but this calculates out to around 15 meters.

Application
The acceleration sensor AS-020 is used for measurement of vibration acceleration.
Measurement Principal
Acceleration sensors operate in accordance with the piezo-electric compression principle. Inside the sensor, a spring/mass damping system is formed by a piezo-ceramic disk and an internal sensor mass. When introducing vibrations into this system, the mass exerts an alternating force on the ceramic disk, and due to the piezo-electric effect, electric charges are caused which are proportional to acceleration. An integrated charge amplifier increases the output signal to a usable signal level.
