THERMAL CUTOFF FUSES SF 250V 10A 73°C-240°C SAME DAY DISPATCH

A thermal fuse is a cut-off which uses a one-time fusible link. Unlike a thermal switch which may automatically reset itself when the temperature drops, the thermal fuse is more like an electrical fuse: a single-use device that cannot be reset and must be replaced when it fails or is triggered. A thermal fuse is used when the overheating is a result of a rare occurrence, such as failure requiring repair (which would also replace the fuse) or replacement at the end of service life.

Thermal fuses are usually found in heat-producing electrical appliances such as coffeemakers and hair dryers. They function as safety devices to disconnect the current to the heating element in case of a malfunction (such as a defective thermostat) that would otherwise allow the temperature to rise to dangerous levels, possibly starting a fire.

It is used for a great variety of applications such as:

1.Home Appliances (e.g. irons, coffee makers, rice cookers, bread makers, toasters, refrigerators)]

2.Comfort Conditioning Appliances (e.g. air conditioners, fans, humidifiers, heaters)

3.Personal Care Appliances (e.g. hair dryers, hair curlers, hair setters)

4.Business Appliances (copiers, laser printers, facsimiles, power strips)

5.Electrical Components (e.g. transformers, solenoids, AC adopters)

6.Automotive Electronics (e.g. electromagnetic clutches, resistors)

Range Rated Voltage: 250V AC. Rated Current: 10A

This SF type thermal cutoff fuse is remarkable sensitivity to temperature rise due to its shape and small size it has a high reliability and accuracy due to its resin-seal. Appropriate for electric flows with large currents,environmentally-friendly product complying with the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), and the Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).
