Red uprated HT lead set, MX-5 1989-2000

New red uprated set of HT leads for Mazda MX-5 & Eunos Roadster all models, mk1 & mk2 1989 to 2001 (will also fit mk2.5 1.6 models 2001-05). 8mm silicone leads, Performance spec, excellent value.

If your MX-5 has a misfire, 9 times out of 10 it'll be the HT leads, the originals usually last about 40,000m and are the weak point in the ignition system.

Description. Quality, better than OEM specification replacement part.

Check that you put them on the right coil pack connections for the neatest fit.

#1 and #4 are interchangeable, as are #2 and #3. If one is particularly tight, try swapping it with the other one on the same coil pack.

Also they need a good push down onto the tops of the plugs as I tried to get a watertight seal over the top of the spark plug holes so they will be tight when new.

Note, to remove the leads, do not pull on the cables, just pull on the rubber ends to avoid damaging the connectors.
