Nice mother of pearl handle Antique petite knife.

King George V (1865-1936)

Condition is excellent.  
1. Mother of pearl handles are in beautiful condition.  The handle has a natural indentation on one side which is part of the mother of pearl shell.  The silverplate may need some polishing.

In 1930, Viners Ltd was issued with a Royal Warrant as Cutlers and Silversmiths to King George V.  George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 3 June 1865 – 20 January 1936) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 6 May 1910 until his death in 1936.

Viners, Ltd grew to be the the largest cutlery manufacturer in England after WWII.
