SUPERB ANTIQUE GLASS OIL LAMP FONT

This very decorative oil lamp font stands approximately 15.6cm tall from the base of the undermount to the top of the brass ring.

The diameter is approximately 16.5cm at its widest point.

It is in overall good condition, please see condition report and finished with a brass fitter with an internal screw fixing, the internal diameter is 3.9cm.
The brass undermount has a screw fixing, this font fits on to a 23mm base.

In a beautiful contemporary grey ground the font is decorated with a strongly designed stylised foliate pattern of roses and foliage in a zig-zag pattern around the circumference of the font. This is bordered by a beaded enamel with a little wear to the gilding commensurate with age and use. This is not immediately noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.

This period design would set of any oil lamp to perfection.
