DESCRIPTION

In the original Latin.

The Roman Pontifical contains the rites of Bishops and is a Catholic liturgical book. Under Clement VIII (1536-1605) a standard version of this work was issued for the use of the entire Roman Rite, for the first time. Therefore, this is an early edition of this text.

This work is in red and black, across two columns per page. There are several psalms, to which is printed the sheet music.

In a lovely condition.

Has been rebound without the endpapers.
