Description

This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1883.

The design was a triumph for Morris as it marked the perfecting of the indigo-discharge technique of printing at Merton Abbey. It was inspired by William Morris's observation of the thrushes under the Strawberry nets at his home, Kelmscott Manor.  We also print Strawberry Thief in a red colour way.

This licensed William Morris design has been printed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items. 

Our placemats are sold in packs of 4, and are a beautiful and practical way to not only add William Morris florals into your home, but also set the table for both everyday and special occasion use.

Measurements: our Blue Strawberry Thief placemats are 28.5cm high by 39.5cm wide.

Care for your item: our placemats are machine washable at 30 degrees, please hang to air dry.

Every one of our William Morris designs are licensed Morris designs. We print and manufacture all our William Morris designs to our own specifications in both size and colour to best suit our products. We can keep our fabric cheaper than competitors because we do print in the UK, reducing transport costs, and we are an online retail only, cutting out the flashy showrooms! When you purchase our products, you're buying them direct from the manufacturer and so we can dictate our own prices.

Shipping Policy:

We offer free UK shipping on all orders, orders placed before 3pm will go the same day unless they are a large order in which case it will be the next working day. For abroad shipping, we post via the eBay Global Shipping Programme, please place the items into your basket and eBay will work out your postage for you based upon the weight of your item.

Returns Policy:

If you're not happy with your item, please return it to us within 14 days of purchase in it's original condition. Please note that if you've used the item or cut the fabric, we are no longer able to offer a return on your item. The customer is responsible for the safe return on the item, in the original condition, and although we are pleased to offer free postage, we cannot offer free returns.
