Sd.Kfz.78-ton semi-tracked vehicle was the backbone of German logistical support during World War II. It was first developed to tow the famous 88mm FlaK36/37 anti-aircraft gun (later used for anti-tank missions), and can accommodate up to 12 artillery and deliver a certain amount of ammunition. With the advance of the war, such tractors have participated in more and more battlefield tasks, including transporting infantry, serving as maintenance vehicles, towing other heavy field artillery, carrying anti-aircraft artillery into self-defense artillery, and so on.
